Advanced R is written by Hadley Wickham, a chief data scientist at Rstudio, and is available at: https://adv-r.hadley.nz. This book is aimed at intermediate R users that want to understand the R language at a foundational level. You may also be interested in this book if you have learned multiple languages and want to understand how R functions in relation to another language. If you are just starting out, you will want to avoid this book, as it will serve to confuse you more than help in my opinion.
